Must be a simple solution to this one? Yesterday I took one of the troublesome HP notebooks home and succesfully downloaded Google Earth to it. Interestingly, it also pulled in a load of SmartBoard updates whilst on my home broadband. Back to the school - tried another HP notebook and the failed to download Google Earth continues. Mindful that I have recently succesfully downloaded Google Earth at work on a Fijitsu Siemens desktop I still added the exceptions to our SWGfL filters and tried the notebook half an hour later but still no download nor did it pick up the SmartBoard updates which came to it's sister notebook on my home broadband. I have run this by the support folk at SWGfL but it's as much a mystery to them as it is to me!
