Synopsis: Qi Yue (Rainie Yang) is a cheerful college girl who harbors a massive crush on the captain of the basketball team, Yuan Yi (Kingone). With the encouragement of her friends, she decides to confess her feelings. However, the next day, with her love letter in her outstretched hands and her head bent, Yuan Yi walks right by her. Qi Yue looks up to find Jiang Meng (Mike He), the school director's son, who has a devilish reputation and a penchant to bully girls.
Terrified, she drops the letter and scoots away. True to his nickname, the devil orders Qi Yue to be his personal servant, else her letter will be revealed to the entire college. Embarrassed and angry, Qi Yue has no choice but to follow in his shadow.
A bizarre twist later, she discovers she has feelings for Meng, who, beneath the cool exterior, possesses a soft and loyal heart. I downloaded the k-lite codesc (full version) and followed the instructions but I keep getting a message saying that it can't be rendered. What does that mean? I can play the rm video on BSPlayer, but something happens to the video and it becomes black and white and the video is only 1/4 of the usual screen size and the rest of it would be black.
I can play the subtitles as usually on BSPlayer and it would be in sync, but the only problem is the video. Do I need another codec? I've already downloaded Real Alternative and can watch it on BS player or Media Player. I'm desperate! I've been trying to play it for the past hour and a half. Thanx in advance.

I've been having the same problem and i cant seem to get the subtitles to load on my MPC i'm going seriously crazy over here help! Ok, I finally got it! Just download the codec, RealAlternative, so you don't have to have realplayer in order to play rm files. Just play the video file with windows media player (regular, not classic version).
Do it the old fashion way and just download VobSub. Then put them in the same folder and give them the same title.

It would b help. I cant open the files in BSPlayer which allow to combine the subs//// help plez Did you download this After installing that and putting the video and sub file in the same folder and naming the.rm files and the.srt file with the same name, you should be able to play it in bsplayer. As long as they're in the same directory and have the same name and klikte codec is installed, it should work. YOu can also play it with Media Player Classic as well. HOpe this help. I'M SORRY TO BUGGING U AGAIN.

I really appreciate it and am enjoying this show! Ever since I watched Mars and Meteor Garden, I've always wanted to watch more Taiwan series (I usually watch more Jdrama and Kdrama), but it is so hard to find these dramas with subtitles and I am unfamiliar with alot of the actors. But, now I can enjoy this series. Thank you sooooooooooo much again! Oh, I've been reading some previous posts about people having some difficulty with attaching subs. I downloaded a program called Crystal Player and it's really easy to use.

You can open up media files and then when it plays, you just right click and select 'add subtitle' and open up the sub file. So far it's worked 99% of the time. You have to actually buy it, but you can download a trial version. Hopefully this might help some people out.
